When little girls grow up....

I knew her when she was eight, wore glasses and often sported a cat tail. I taught her piano lessons for a little bit and sang primary songs with her in primary. She loved chickens when she was younger and her family raised some for a while. She cried when one of the died and her dad bought her another one. I feel very fortunate to have her family in my life. They have been very dear friends and so, seeing her, so grown up, was a little emotional for me.
She's graduating from high school, is a very talented pianist and actress and I'm sure will go on to do big things. Thank you, Sarah, for spending a little time with me on this day. It was a joy!
